Jingdezhen Ceramic University is the only multidisciplinary university named after ceramics in China. The school's predecessor was China Ceramic School founded by China modern industrialist and educator Zhang Jianyu 19 10. 19 12 was renamed as Jiangxi lirao ceramic school, and 19 15 was changed to Jiangxi second-class industrial school, and a branch school was established in Jingdezhen the following year. 1934 moved to Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, and was named Jiujiang Ceramic Vocational School in Jiangxi Province. 1948 was upgraded to Jiangxi Ceramic Institute. 1952, National College Adjustment, Cancellation of Ceramic Institute.
