I. Introduction of Central South University
Central South University is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. As of May 2023, the school covers an area of 3170,200 square meters with a building area of 2,295,200 square meters. There are 30 secondary colleges offering 103 undergraduate majors; Full-time students are 6 178 1 person, including 34,906 undergraduates, 24,373 graduate students, 2,362 international students and 40 preparatory students.

1, teaching construction
By May 2023, the school had 72 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 84 national first-class undergraduate courses, 3 online courses/kloc-0 on the international massive open online course platform, and 4 ideological and political demonstration projects of the Ministry of Education.
With the approval of the Ministry of Education, there are four top-notch students' training programs in basic disciplines, two national clinical teaching and training demonstration centers, eight national engineering practice education centers 18, eight national experimental teaching demonstration centers, two national off-campus practice education bases 12, and five national "talent plan" training bases.
2. Teaching achievements
In 20 19, the school won 2 national teaching achievement awards and 35 provincial and ministerial teaching achievement awards in the recent session; Provincial and ministerial teaching research and reform projects directed by teachers (including project establishment, research in progress and project completion) 140, with a funding of 3190,000 yuan; School students won 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze in the 5th China "internet plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and won the gold medal in IGEM Division.
