Chapter I: General Provisions
Article 1 In order to ensure the normal order of postgraduate education and school life, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of postgraduate students, and promote the all-round development of postgraduate students in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Education Law, the Higher Education Law and the Regulations on the Administration of Students in Colleges and Universities, combined with the specific situation of postgraduate education and teaching in our school.
Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the student status management of graduate students who receive general higher education in China University of Political Science and Law (hereinafter referred to as "graduate students").
Chapter II: Admission and Registration
Article 3 Postgraduate status is a necessary condition for establishing a legal relationship between graduate students and schools in terms of educational services and management, and is the basic basis for graduate students to enjoy rights and perform obligations.
Graduate student status must be obtained through registration and filing. Graduate students admitted by China University of Political Science and Law, after passing the registration examination, have the status of graduate students of China University of Political Science and Law within the prescribed time limit.
Article 4 Postgraduates admitted by China University of Political Science and Law in accordance with the national enrollment regulations shall go through the admission formalities at the school with the Notice of Admission of Postgraduates from China University of Political Science and Law in accordance with the relevant requirements and time limits stipulated by the school.
Article 5 Anyone who cannot arrive at school on time for some reason should ask for leave from the school in advance, and the leave period is generally not more than 2 weeks.
Those who fail to ask for leave or ask for leave overdue shall be deemed to have waived their admission qualification except for justified reasons such as force majeure.
Article 6 Schools shall conduct a preliminary examination of the admission qualifications of new students when they report for duty. Those who pass the examination shall go through the admission procedures and be registered as students. After examination, it is found that the admission notice, candidate information and other supporting materials of freshmen are inconsistent with my actual situation, or there are other situations that violate the provisions of the national entrance examination, and the admission qualification is cancelled.
Article 7 Freshmen may apply for retaining their admission qualifications. Do not have a student status during the retention of admission qualifications, and do not enjoy the treatment of graduate students in school.
Meet one of the following conditions, new students can apply for retention of admission qualification:
1. Ill or unable to study at school due to physical inconvenience;
2. Studying abroad;
3. Job requirements (including innovation and entrepreneurship);
4. Other circumstances that really need to retain admission qualifications.
Within 1 week from the date of registration of freshmen specified by the school, the school can retain the admission qualification of 1 or 2 years upon the application of graduate students and the consent of the secondary training unit, and report to the leaders in charge of the graduate school for examination and approval.
Eighth freshmen should apply for admission to the school before the expiration of the retention qualification, and go through the admission procedures after passing the examination by the school. Those who fail the examination will be disqualified; Those who fail to go through the admission formalities within the time limit and have no legitimate reasons such as force majeure shall be deemed to have given up their admission qualification.
Article 9 After the graduate students enter the school, the school shall conduct an audit in accordance with the national enrollment regulations within 3 months.
