Chapter 1 Introduction of Newspaper Office
Reporter is a bimonthly magazine spontaneously founded by students from School of Humanities, East China University of Political Science and Law. Founded in March 2005, Professor Yue Chuanfu, then secretary of the Party branch of the School of Humanities, wrote headlines for the newspaper. Under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of our school and the General Party Branch of the College of Humanities, with the joint efforts of several generations of journalists and relying on the professional knowledge and skills of the College of Humanities, The Journalist adheres to the concept of running a newspaper independently, and gradually moves towards specialization and standardization, constantly seeking innovation and change. At present, our reporter has ***8 pages, including front page news (reporting major news events of the school and providing timely consultation), college vertical and horizontal (reporting important news and activities of various colleges in our school), campus dynamics (paying attention to major lecture information of the school and reporting special activities of the community), and hot issues (paying attention to current hot issues related to college students and inviting teachers and students to discuss and comment on them). Special investigation (discussing major events closely related to college students' study and life in the form of special topics), personal style (interviewing famous professors, advanced students and other key figures in the school), leisure and entertainment (providing tips and suggestions on students' life, publishing students' photos and answering students' doubts) and supplements (for students to publish literary works, tell stories, pour out their feelings and pass on blessings) are part of the newspaper's advertising management and funding sources. As one of the important professional practice bases of the College of Humanities, The Journalist has gradually trained a group of editors with strong professional knowledge and skills. The news has a wide range of sources, and adheres to the principle of combining high style with readability, aiming to reflect the colorful campus life in a wide perspective, true content, accurate information, all-round and the first time. It is one of the most influential newspapers in our school and is very popular with readers.
Chapter II Organizational Structure
Article 1: The president of a news newspaper shall be decided by the General Party Branch of the College of Humanities through discussion, and suitable candidates who meet the requirements shall be employed, who shall be fully responsible for the daily work of the newspaper and accept the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee and the General Party Branch of the College.
Article 2: Journalist has seven functional organizations: editorial department, press corps, advertising department, circulation department, liaison department, network department and office. The establishment of functional institutions can be adjusted appropriately according to the actual situation. The functional institutions implement the ministerial responsibility system, and the ministers of all departments are responsible to the President and report their work.
Article 3: The president and the principal responsible persons of various functional organizations shall form a newspaper general affairs meeting, which shall be specifically responsible for the daily work of the newspaper.
Article 4: The principal responsible persons of various functional institutions shall be appointed by the president and reported to the General Party Branch of the College for the record. Except for the reasons of force majeure, if the minister fails to fulfill his application promise or has serious dereliction of duty, the president will organize a general meeting to discuss it and report it to the general party branch of the college for approval, and promptly dismiss him from his post and re-appoint the minister.
Article 5: The president and ministers of various ministries may, according to specific work needs and with the consent of the general party branch of the college, establish vice presidents or deputy ministers.
Article 6: Duties of the Chairman:
(a) fully responsible for the daily work of the newspaper, grasp the development direction of the newspaper;
(two) to co-ordinate the operation and management of the newspaper, decide on the staffing, and guide the work of various functional departments;
(three) to participate in the topic selection design of the editorial board column, and have one-third of the decision;
(four) organize regular meetings and general affairs meetings of all members of the newspaper;
(five) on behalf of the newspaper to participate in various activities.
Article 7: Editor-in-Chief and Responsibilities of Editor-in-Chief
(a) to organize the daily work of the editorial department, decide on the staffing, be responsible for recruiting new employees, and be responsible to the President;
(2) Organize regular editorial committees and meetings to determine the planning of newspaper topics;
(three) to determine the standards and editing policies for soliciting contributions, selecting contributions and proofreading, and to arrange responsible editing of the layout;

Article 8: Responsibilities of the Head of the Press Corps
(a) Organize the daily work of the press corps, decide on the staffing, be responsible for recruiting new staff and be accountable to the Chairman;

Article 9: Responsibilities of the Minister of Advertising Department
(a) Organize the daily work of the advertising department, decide the staffing, be responsible for recruiting new employees and be responsible to the President;
(2) Organize departmental meetings on a regular basis, assign group tasks, and summarize the work in stages;
(three) determine the advertising management system and principles, improve the quantity and quality of advertising management (sponsorship), and ensure the daily and orderly operation of newspapers;
(four) actively promote sponsors, contact sponsors, and strive to establish long-term and stable cooperative relations with valuable businesses;
(5) Actively publicize sponsorship activities and use them to expand the influence of newspapers.

Article 10: Responsibilities of the Minister of Distribution Department
