The scientific research institutions of the college include: National Key Laboratory of Electronic Testing Technology, National Defense Science and Technology, Key Laboratory of Instrumental Science and Dynamic Testing of Ministry of Education, Cultivation Base of State Key Laboratory of Dynamic Testing Technology, and Shanxi Modern Nondestructive Testing Engineering Technology Research Center. He has undertaken more than 80 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, with an average annual scientific research funding of 10 million yuan. He won the second prize of national invention 1 item, 2 third prizes, more than 30 provincial and ministerial prizes, more than 20 national invention patents, published more than 580 papers in important national academic journals, and published 273 academic papers at international and domestic academic conferences, among which 359 were included by SCI, EI and ISTP. The college has established good exchanges and cooperation with educational and scientific research institutions in the United States, Britain, Russia, Japan and other countries.
