Article 1 is based on the Interim Provisions of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee on Granting Bachelor's Degrees to Graduates of Adult Higher Education ((88) Degree Zi No.012) and the Notice of Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee on Reiterating Issues Related to Granting Bachelor's Degrees to Graduates of Adult Higher Education (Guangdong Academic Degrees Office [2002] 16). And the Notice of Guangdong Provincial Self-taught Examination Committee on Adjusting the Conditions for Undergraduate Graduates to Apply for Academic Qualifications (Guangdong Examination Committee [2002] 1No.), combined with the characteristics of adult higher education in our school, On the basis of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Guangdong University of Technology for Granting Bachelor's Degree to Adult Higher Education Graduates (Provisional) (No.8 of Guanggong Dacheng Zi [1996]) and the Notice on Adjusting the Conditions for Granting Bachelor's Degree to Graduates of Self-taught Higher Education Examination in our University (No.5 of Guanggong Dajizi [2002]/KLOC-0), these Detailed Rules are re-formulated.
Article 2 Adult graduates of our school (including self-study exam graduates) may apply for a bachelor's degree according to the provisions of these Detailed Rules.
Article 3 A bachelor's degree may be awarded if the following conditions are met:
1. political conditions: adhere to the four cardinal principles, love the motherland, abide by the law, and have good conduct.
2. Academic achievement criteria:
(1) Undergraduate graduates of adult education: they have obtained our undergraduate diploma, with an average score of 70 or above in all subjects in the academic year system, an average score of 2.0 or above in the students who implement the credit system management, and a moderate or above grade in graduation design (thesis), and the total hours of make-up exams shall not exceed 20% of the total hours of graduation courses;
(2) Self-taught undergraduate graduates: have obtained the self-taught graduation certificate countersigned by our school, and the graduation design (thesis) score is above average.
3. Foreign Language Proficiency: Adult graduates who attend the office of Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee in our school apply for the unified foreign language proficiency test for bachelor's degree and obtain a certificate of conformity.
Article 4 A bachelor's degree may be awarded under other circumstances recognized by the academic degrees committee of the school.
Article 5 A bachelor's degree will not be awarded and will not be reissued in the future.
Article 6 Procedures for awarding bachelor's degrees
1. Applicants can only apply for a degree if they meet the above-mentioned conditions for granting degrees at the time of application, and each person can only apply for 1 time.
2. April and 10 are the acceptance months for applying for a degree every year. Applicants must apply for a degree within the acceptance month, and meet the following time limit requirements, and will not be accepted after the deadline:
(1) within 3 months after the graduation date indicated in the graduation certificate;
(2) Within 1 year after the graduation date indicated in the undergraduate diploma.
3. The applicant shall check and confirm the Application Form for Bachelor's Degree in Adult Higher Education of Guangdong University of Technology (self-taught graduates are required to fill in) in the College of Continuing Education within the acceptance month, and submit the following materials at the same time:
(1) Original and photocopy of ID card (A4 size) 1 photocopy;
(2) The original and photocopy of our undergraduate diploma (A4 size) 1 copy;
(3) 1 The original and photocopy of the Qualification Certificate for Applying for Bachelor's Degree in Guangdong Adult Undergraduate Foreign Language Proficiency Examination (A4 specification);
(4) Adult higher education graduates must provide the original graduation transcripts; Self-taught graduates must provide the graduation design (thesis) score certificate issued by the self-taught office of our school;
(5) Self-taught graduates must hold a recent photo of 1 inch bareheaded.
4. The College of Continuing Education is responsible for accepting the degree applications of adult undergraduate graduates, and sorting out relevant materials and submitting them to the degree committee.
5. The Academic Degrees Committee shall review the materials submitted by the College of Continuing Education. Those who meet the conditions for granting a bachelor's degree shall be awarded a bachelor's degree and a bachelor's degree certificate by the school, and the list shall be submitted to the office of the Provincial Academic Degrees Committee for the record; Those who fail will not be awarded a degree, but they should be informed of the reasons for not granting a degree. If the applicant is in doubt, he can apply for degree reconsideration.
Article 7 Reconsideration of academic degrees
1. Those who have applied for a degree according to regulations but have not been awarded a degree may file a degree reconsideration within 15 working days after the degree application is not approved. The reconsideration procedure is as follows:
(1) The reconsideration applicant shall go through the application procedures for degree reconsideration at the College of Continuing Education, truthfully fill out the Application Form for Reconsideration of Bachelor's Degree for Adult Higher Education Graduates of Guangdong University of Technology, and attach the original and photocopy of relevant supporting materials;
(2) The College of Continuing Education is responsible for accepting applications for degree reconsideration and sorting out relevant materials and submitting them to the degree committee;
(3) The Academic Degrees Committee examines the application materials for reconsideration. Those who meet the conditions for granting a bachelor's degree shall be awarded a bachelor's degree and a bachelor's degree certificate by the school, and the list shall be submitted to the office of the Provincial Academic Degrees Committee for the record.
2. The reconsideration application can only be submitted 1 time. After the application for reconsideration is rejected, the application for reconsideration may not be filed again.
The eighth adult bachelor's degree is awarded twice a year, in June and 65438+February respectively.
Article 9 The adult bachelor's degree certificate of our school shall indicate in what form the degree winner obtained the bachelor's degree in a certain subject. The forms of running a school include adult higher education full-time undergraduate education and high school full-time undergraduate education, evening university, correspondence, and higher education self-study examination. Subjects include engineering, science, economics, management, literature and other disciplines that schools have the right to award bachelor's degrees.
Article 10 If the degree certificate is lost and cannot be reissued, the school shall issue relevant certificates.
Eleventh in the examination and approval of adult graduates to apply for a degree, should adhere to the standards, strict requirements, to ensure the quality. If it is found that the degree applicant or the relevant unit engages in graft in the process of degree application and evaluation, once it is verified, it will be dealt with severely according to the relevant regulations of the school and the awarded bachelor's degree will be revoked.
Twelfth these rules shall come into force as of June 7, 2003. The original Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Granting Bachelor's Degree to Graduates of Adult Higher Education in Guangdong University of Technology (Provisional) (No.8 of Guanggong Dacheng Zi [1996]) and Notice on Adjusting the Conditions for Granting Bachelor's Degree to Graduates of Self-taught Higher Education Examination (No.5 of Guanggong Dajizi [2002]/KLOC-0) shall be abolished at the same time. The right to interpret these rules belongs to the Academic Degrees Committee.
