About ACCA and CIMA

ACCA-attaches importance to accounting, especially business accounting-chartered certified public accountant, UK-accounting firm, senior enterprise accounting.

CIMA-Key Points of Management Accounting-Chartered Management Accountant in UK-Senior Accountant in Enterprise.

Comparison of difficulty:

ACCA: 14, most of the exams are exempted in the first stage. In the second stage, China people are better at 2.3, and 2.4 is more difficult. In the third stage, the difficulty is obviously increased, especially 3. 1 and 3.2, and the topics are very demon ... If you pass the previous exams, the last three items (required to take the exams together) will be relatively easy, (. ......

Some people say that the domestic exam is more difficult than ACCA, which is definitely a misunderstanding. The domestic examination is getting more and more biased. Personally, I think it has gradually deviated from the purpose of the examination. Just to control the passing rate, there are some very biased questions.

The difficulty of ACCA lies in the combination of students' analytical ability and practice. For example, in the ACCA exam, a paragraph is usually given to analyze the accounting statements of enterprises and give suggestions to enterprises. The content is also designed in the cost management and accounting of the domestic CPA examination, but the requirements are very different. ACCA requires writing a short essay to make a comprehensive analysis of the various capabilities of the enterprise. At the same time, practical suggestions are put forward in combination with the problems of enterprises. I think this part of the requirements for domestic certified public accountants are superficial. I didn't mean to look down on domestic certified public accountants, just to control the passing rate, blindly digress, and pay little attention to the topic of examining ability. I don't think this is desirable.

CIMA: 15, the single pass rate is higher than ACCA. It attaches great importance to analytical ability, which is more difficult for China people.

ACCA and CIMA are considered as the golden certificates of accounting in China.

However, personally, ACCA is stronger than CIMA, not because the examination is more difficult, but because ACCA has a huge propaganda offensive, and CIMA basically has no publicity, so ACCA is more valued than CIMA in China.

Personally, whether to study ACCA, ICAEW or CPA (China Certified Public Accountant) depends on personal development intention.

If you want to stay in the UK in the future, learning ICAEW is more useful than ACCA. ICAEW is a certified public accountant in England and Wales and the most authentic accountant in Britain.

But if you want to go back to China, ACCA is definitely more useful than ICAEW. Although ICAEW is better than ACCA in Britain, it doesn't matter whether the British recognize it or not if you want to go back to China. Once a friend of mine spent nearly three years studying ICAEW, and after returning to China, he said that he was ACA (short for ICAEW). The recruiter asked him if he was wrong and if it should be ACCA. ...

If you can't decide whether you are in China or England, you'd better take the ACCA, because although ICAEW is better than ACCA in England, according to my experience and that of my friends, it's not much better. ACCA is equivalent to the certificate of senior accountant, but it is actually the same as ICAEW, except that one has the right to sign, but please note that if ACCA3. 1 passes the exam, it has the right to sign, that is, =ICAEW, so there is actually little difference. ....

As for CPA, I think if you already have ACCA, you don't need to take CPA exam again, because most people won't always work in accounting firms, so it doesn't matter whether you have the right to sign.

Moreover, in China, employers attach more importance to ACCA than CPA, so I don't think it is necessary to take the CPA exam with ACCA.

ACCA can be compared with CIMA, but not with CFA and actuaries.

In fact, these certificates also have negative actual conditions.

ACCA and cima:

Accounting firms don't need many certified public accountants, just a few. How many accounting statements can be audited in a year? And even if you sign it, even the seniors have no right to sign it. Who says now that you can be promoted to manager or partner after taking ACCA or CIMA? Four friends in China say that you are encouraged to take the CPA exam, because your comprehensive accounting knowledge will be improved. If you are a certified public accountant, you don't have to sign it. What's more, ACCA and CIMA have no right to sign contracts in China. At this point, the strength of ACCA and CIMA is not as good as CPA. Even if you take the ACCA, you have to add 500 yuan (KPMG) every month, just like CPA and master's degree in China. As for some people who say that ACCA has an annual salary of 500,000 yuan, I only have one friend who has worked for five years, so people can get such a high income not because of ACCA, but because of their work experience and ability.

The above is my objective evaluation of several certificates. I don't mean to say that what I have learned is good, and what is high in gold makes other certificates worthless. Whether a certificate is good or not is not up to you or me, but depends on the degree of recognition of this certificate in China. It is the value of this certificate in the eyes of most people.

I can't say which of these certificates has the highest gold content, because it is originally a certificate in different fields. I think the difficulty can be compared with each other, but the gold content cannot be compared. I don't think it's possible to expect to earn much money by taking these certificates now. After I take it, I must look at my personal development potential. These certificates only give you an opportunity to surpass others when you are competing with others. Can you seize the opportunity?

Personally, I think it's really a rare opportunity for your sister to qualify for the selection. If you are interested in accounting, you can apply for it. To tell the truth, your sister's undergraduate professional management is really not so good. Really, I feel that this is eunuch discipline.

Of course, it also depends on the specific enrollment policy, tuition fees and so on. If conditions permit, let's take part in the flower selection. After all, this is an opportunity. For domestic development, choose ACCA. Personal views are for reference only. Good luck to your sister.
