North China University of Science and Technology, referred to as North China University of Science and Technology, is located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. The former Hebei University of Technology founded by 1958 was merged with the former North China Coal Medical College founded by 1926. 20 10 in may, the two universities formally merged to form Hebei United university. 20 15 February, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Hebei United University as North China University of Science and Technology.
The history of North China University of Science and Technology can be traced back to the Mining Department of Tianjin Beiyang Western School, which was founded in 1895. It is a provincial-level key university with the comprehensive education level of international students' education, postgraduate education, undergraduate education and continuing education, focusing on engineering and medicine, and the coordinated development of learning, economics, management, literature, law and art. The school is approved by the Emergency Management Department, the people of China, the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Hebei Province. It is the second batch of outstanding engineer education and training plan, the first batch of pilot universities of outstanding doctor education and training plan, and the first batch of universities selected into the national "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan 2.0" and "New Engineering Research and Practice Project".
