Our place is 3+3, so it is reasonable to choose the three courses that we are best at, but the mainstream chooses physics and chemistry, especially physics, which is more important for universities. I don't know much about that information technology major, but computer-related subjects really need some common sense, and computers are not suitable for everyone.
