2. National inspirational scholarship:

3. National allocation:

The national grant is to show the concern of the party and the government for students from poor families in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges. Funded jointly by the central and local governments, it is used to subsidize full-time students with financial difficulties in ordinary undergraduate colleges (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees).

The central and local governments set up state grants to help poor students from ordinary high schools, accounting for about 20% of the total number of ordinary high school students in China, including 10% in the eastern region, 20% in the central region and 30% in the western region.
