The School of Law of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law originated from the School of Politics and Law of Chung Yuan Christian University established in September, 1952. 1953 In April, based on the School of Political Science and Law of Chung Yuan Christian University, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangxi University and Hunan University merged to form Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law. 1958 In April, Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law merged with Zhongnan College of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan Cadre College of Political Science and Law and Law Department of Wuhan University to form the Law Department of Hubei University. 1977, evolved into the Law Department of Hubei University of Finance and Economics. 1984 65438+February, based on the Law Department of Hubei University of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law was officially restored.
