Not all of these seven armed police colleges are for college entrance examination candidates, and only four of them enroll students through the college entrance examination. It is the Armed Police Engineering University, the Armed Police Officers College, the Armed Police Special Police College and the Armed Police Marine Police College. This college recruits college entrance examination candidates, and the other three are all for active personnel of the Armed Police Force. This is completely similar to the situation of the People's Liberation Army. There are more than 40 military schools in the People's Liberation Army, and only about half of them are enrolled in the college entrance examination.
