The survey report on college students' living expenses (1) enters the university, and we are no longer children whose parents are responsible for all the food, clothing, housing and transportation in middle school. We must learn to take care of ourselves when we leave our families. At present, social progress is unpredictable and indescribable. As the expectation of a new generation, we also stand in this society in multiple identities, one of which is consumers. In college, the shaping and cultivation of our consumption concept plays a vital role in the composition and orientation of our future values and world outlook. Therefore, paying attention to the consumption situation of college students in China, gaining insight into their consumption psychology and behavior characteristics, and cultivating correct consumption concepts and methods in time have become a topic of considerable concern to people from all walks of life.
As a result, this interview with the theme of "Investigation on College Students' Consumption Outlook" arrived as scheduled. The respondents are college students from Hi-tech College of Xi 'an University of Science and Technology. We mainly record the actual scenes of college students' life consumption by random interviews, and sort out and analyze them in the form of words.
Interview question setting
1. How much is the monthly living expenses?
2. What are the main consumption items?
3. The main source of living expenses
4. Whether to use online platform loans, such as flowers, borrowing money, etc. , is long and melancholy.
5. Do you usually have the habit of managing money?
6. Views on buying luxury goods
Main point
First, rational consumption is the mainstream.
There are students from different places and different family backgrounds around us, which also shows that our students' consumption concept is more rational to some extent. Among ordinary people, price, quality and fashion are the main factors to attract college students' consumption. Judging from the survey results, practical and rational consumption is still the main consumption concept of college students at present. From our question setting, we can see that when college students buy goods, the first factors they study are price and quality. This is because college students in China are different from those abroad. Their financial resources mainly come from the support of their parents, and they don't earn much from part-time jobs. This makes our disposable money fixed every month, about 300-800 yuan, and generally less than 2,000 yuan for a better family, which is mainly used to pay for food and daily necessities. Due to the limited spending power, most college students are often very cautious when spending money, striving for "value for money", and we will try our best to search for goods with good quality and low price. All these phenomena show that the consumption situation of contemporary college students generally shows a rational trend.
Second, the comparison mentality does exist.
In the interview, we found that many students have opened online loan services such as flower beds, and the main reason for this phenomenon is that the phenomenon of comparison does exist in the consumption concept of our college students, and some of them are still serious.
In the interview, some students pointed out that in order to have a pair of brand-name shoes or put on the most popular mobile phone, or buy a computer, camera and so on. Some students are willing to save or even sacrifice their other necessary expenses. However, when some students clearly realize that their money is not plentiful, when they are alone, they will pay great attention to their expenses and try to be frugal, but when they spend with their classmates and friends, their performance is quite different, resulting in the phenomenon of "extravagance", "waste" and even "luxury". These phenomena can reflect that some students don't know how to live within their means, and vanity drives them to form an endless comparison psychology. In fact, it is normal for people to have a moderate psychology of comparison. How can there be improvement without comparison and discovery? However, everything needs to be measured. If it exceeds this appropriate level, there will often be some unreasonable phenomena. Just like all kinds of examples we see today, on the unreasonable basis, they will often have a bad influence on our college students' daily life or psychological behavior, and even have a far-reaching impact on their lives.
Third, consumption differentiation is extremely serious.
In the same group, the monthly living expenses of different students are not the same, but they are generally maintained within a reasonable range. However, it can be seen from the lowest consumption and the highest consumption that the polarization of consumption is still a serious problem. I think this largely depends on the overall "big gap between the rich and the poor" in China's economic system and residents' income. At present, most of the financial resources of college students are still provided by their parents. Everyone's consumption situation will mostly be moderate consumption combined with their own family scenes, which is because the family itself has a big gap. Subsequently, the phenomenon of serious polarization of college students' consumption as a whole is not unreasonable.
Fourth, the concept of saving is weak.
Most college students reflect in this survey that they are not very clear about the consumption situation of the month, but they usually spend the money they should spend and do the consumption they should do, but they have no idea about how much they spend as a whole. At the same time, there are fewer students who keep accounts after consumption, and most students find that there is not much cash or even overdraft every time they go to withdraw money. At this time, they can only ask family, friends and classmates for help. There are few comprehensive and reasonable plans when dealing with how to deal with money or living expenses. It can be seen that college students' concept of saving is still in a weak state and needs to be strengthened.
Fifth, we need to guide students' consumption view.
Most parents will take two ways to send their children a life. One is to pay a fixed monthly living allowance to limit children's expenses. The other is to leave the money at their own disposal and send it back when it is not enough. From these phenomena, we can find that parents still lack guidance on their children's consumption. The reason can be attributed to educational methods and systems. Parents don't restrict their children, nor indulge their children in spending money, but they don't find the importance of guidance when criticizing or teaching their children. We should try our best to make children actively and reasonably consume, and cultivate a correct consumption concept in combination with their actual situation. What's more, in order to prevent their children from being wronged in college, parents in rural areas will spend a lot of money to buy things for their children, which is completely beyond their skills, while parents in cities will indulge their children's consumption. It can be seen that there are also different degrees of comparison psychology among parents, and it is these that hinder the correct consumption view of college students.
Our suggestions:
1. Investigate the consumption psychology of college students.
Contemporary college students are the pillars of future social construction. It is of great significance to guide college students to continue to adhere to the correct, healthy, thrifty and thrifty consumption concept, to oppose bad consumption habits such as extravagance and waste, blind comparison and excessive consumption, and to strengthen the cultivation and shaping of college students' healthy consumption concept. We expect teachers to use the scientific method of combining investigation with theoretical teaching in ideological and theoretical teaching, so that theoretical teaching can really get rid of empty preaching. We believe that in the future, teachers should pay more attention to the consumption situation of college students, pay attention to studying our consumption psychology and behavior, find and solve problems from them, and help us develop healthy consumption psychology and form a correct consumption view.
2. Cultivate college students' financial management skills
The so-called financial management refers to a person's financial management skills, that is, the rational understanding and use of money. Therefore, experts put forward the concept of "financial quotient". The concept of financial quotient is the three indispensable qualities of modern society, which are juxtaposed with IQ and EQ, and it is also an unavoidable topic in modern education. It can be understood that IQ reflects people's viability as a general creature, EQ reflects people's viability as a social creature, and financial quotient reflects people's viability as an economic man in the economic society. Financial quotient mainly includes two aspects of information: one is the ability to correctly understand money and its laws; Second, the ability to correctly use money and monetary laws. We suggest that teachers design lively teaching forms around these two aspects of information in the teaching activities of "Two Courses" to achieve educational purposes.
3. Pay attention to the promotion of school spirit to consumption.
The good school spirit of professional associations is the organic combination of teachers' morality and students' learning and lifestyle. Among them, students' consumption psychology and behavior are important aspects of students' lifestyle. The power of the environment is infinite. When students live in a simple, thrifty and educated environment, they will also make good behaviors involuntarily. Therefore, schools should advocate and attach importance to this aspect. After a process of mutual promotion, everything will become much easier. We should do in-depth work on some unhealthy phenomena of college students, such as how to overcome unplanned consumption, unreasonable consumption structure, comparison, extravagance and waste, excessive love consumption and so on. , should attract the attention of the school.
Investigation report on college students' living expenses (II) With the development of economy, people's consumption level and quality of life have been continuously improved, and their consumption concepts have also undergone profound changes. At the same time, irrational consumption patterns, such as worshipping foreign things, showing off wealth, extravagant consumption and comparing consumption, have also appeared in the consumption field. As a special group in society, contemporary college students are not only one of the main consumers at present, but also the main force of consumption in China and the guide of consumption trend in the future. The consumption situation, consumption concept and consumption pattern of college students will have an important impact on China's future economic development and consumer culture construction. In order to truly understand the consumption level and situation of contemporary college students, grasp their psychological characteristics and behavior orientation, and cultivate their scientific, rational, polite and responsible consumption view, our project teaching group conducted a survey with the theme of "We were really rich in those days-how to treat college students' consumption view" throughout the school. After investigation, we got the following results:
1. Average monthly consumption during school:
The number of consumption levels is roughly the same, with 1000- 1500 being the majority.
2. Source of living expenses:
About 70% people choose to come from their families, that is to say, the living expenses of contemporary college students are mostly subsidized by their families and depend on their parents.
3. The cost of eating in the canteen every month:
Nearly half of the students chose 300-500 yuan, but according to the current consumption level, students have to spend at least 1000 yuan for three meals a day, so most students eat outside school or order takeout.
4. The way of shopping:
Nowadays, with the increasingly developed network, online shopping has become a very common way of consumption. About 80% people often buy online, so most people give up shopping in physical stores because of time or laziness.
5. Monthly expenses for purchasing daily necessities and clothes:
More than half of people spend between 100-500 on daily necessities and clothes.
6. Frequency of having dinner with classmates or friends:
Most people usually go out to eat once or twice a month, and a few people never go out to eat with classmates and friends.
This is also the life law and time arrangement of contemporary college students.
7. Will you take the initiative to buy clothes and food for your parents?
More than two-thirds of people will take the initiative to buy things for their parents, but one-third of them rarely or never buy clothes or food for their parents, which shows that most college students will take the initiative to care about their parents, but some people still don't care enough about their parents.
8. Your own living expenses:
9. Monthly love expenditure:
First of all, it shows that the proportion of college students who are single and in love is basically maintained at 1: 1, and the spending between couples is graded, and the proportion of each consumption level is close.
10. Where do you spend most of your monthly consumption?
It shows that college students spend the most on food, followed by daily necessities and clothing, which is actually closely related to the prevalence of online shopping. At the same time, entertainment, daily communication, transportation and communication are balanced, occupying the necessary consumption proportion.
1 1. When the monthly living expenses are more than enough, it will be used for:
A large number of college students will choose to save the extra living expenses, some will be used for eating, drinking and traveling, and relatively few will be used for other purposes.
Investigation report on college students' living expenses (III) Objective: In China, with the development of economy and the improvement of science and technology, the consumption expenditure of college students has increased year by year, and the growth rate is getting bigger and bigger. College students have become a special consumer group that cannot be ignored. This survey is mainly to understand the consumption status and psychology of college students in our school, analyze the consumption composition of students, guide the establishment of correct consumption concepts and develop good consumption habits.
Survey object: college students.
Survey data: student income and expenditure scene, study expenditure scene, 1. consumption scene, electronic communication scene, electronic communication consumption scene, consumption view.
Survey methods: Questionnaire survey was used to design survey data for the possible consumption phenomenon of college students, and the survey results were analyzed.
Findings and analysis:
There is an inevitable gap between 1 and total monthly consumption. At present, most college students come from rural areas, and the proportion of cities is very small. The total monthly consumption of college students is mainly concentrated in 400 yuan -500 yuan and 500 yuan -800 yuan, with polarization less than 400 yuan or more than 1.200 yuan. The registered consumption of poor students is basically less than that of 400 yuan. There is a big gap between poor students' living standards and spending power and ordinary students.
2, the diet is expensive. Diet expenditure accounts for the vast majority of total consumption, which is in line with healthy consumption. The survey found that there is also an upsurge of going out for dinner and inviting classmates to dinner among college students. Although the expenditure in this area is not large, it is also a reason for the high consumption of college students, which shows that college students have gradually spent on socializing.
3, usually buy money for learning materials. 4 1.5% of college students spend less than 10 yuan, 49.5% from 0 yuan to 50 yuan, 6% from 50 yuan, and 3% from 100 yuan. It can be seen that college students generally do not buy books. Except for some students who take various qualification certificates for postgraduate entrance examination, they generally don't buy books other than textbooks.
4. The communication network cost is too high. Among the people surveyed, the mobile phone ownership rate is 100%, and the MP3 usage rate is over 70%. The survey found that most students' monthly mobile phone expenses are concentrated in 30 yuan ~ 80 yuan, and 14% students' monthly mobile phone expenses are as high as 100 yuan. The computer penetration rate in schools is also relatively high, about 30%. According to the school's network fee budget, the monthly network fee is charged according to 20 yuan, and the monthly network fee for students without computers is almost higher than that in 20 yuan.
5. Items that you are most willing to consume when you have money. Eat, drink, play, travel and dress account for the largest proportion. 30% choose to save, 5% choose to buy books, 1% choose other. It can be seen that food is the most important thing for the people, and eating and drinking is still the mainstream. Everyone loves beauty, and college students also pay attention to their own dressing. Pursuing fashion has become a sideline for some students. The proportion of girls buying cosmetics and clothes is relatively large, and the proportion of boys using them for communication and entertainment is relatively high.
6. College students' brand awareness is enhanced when buying clothes and daily necessities, and more students are willing to buy products with better brands, especially girls' clothes and cosmetics. This also proves that the consumption level of college students has improved as a whole. Although the brand is very important, we should not blindly trust the brand. We should combine our own situation and focus on our own needs and quality.
7. Daily sources of funds and family income. The survey found that the main source of income for college students is family supply. Among them, the number of work-study programs is ten percentage points more than that of ordinary students. However, some students have more ardent expectations than ordinary students and will make more efforts. From the perspective of family monthly income, college students' family monthly income is mostly 1000 yuan to 4,000 yuan, while some students' family monthly income is mostly in 800 yuan to 2,000 yuan, and 8% is still below 1000 yuan.
Analysis results: The survey found that the current consumption situation of college students presents two main characteristics: first, the improvement of people's living standards has led to the improvement of college students' consumption level, showing changes in quantity and structure; Second, the consumption scenes of college students are obviously different.
The consumption composition of college students is gradually in line with social development. From the survey, we can see that college students spend more on going out for dinner, inviting friends to dinner, traveling and networking. Just as the circle of college students has become a small society, college students are more aware of getting in touch with some new ways of life consumption in society and then integrating into society as soon as possible. Consumption patterns such as bank cards and credit cards are gradually recognized and understood. It can be seen that college students, as an active group in society, have kept pace with social development in consumption consciousness, although they can't keep up with society in economic strength.
Rational consumption is still the mainstream of consumption. Most of the expenses of college students are on diet, but not much on entertainment. It can be seen that college students are still very clear that their mission is to learn knowledge rather than indulge in fun. Due to the limited consumption power, college students will be more cautious in consumption, try to be selective, and will not blindly seek expensive, or only pay attention to cheap and not quality. So rational consumption is the mainstream of college students' consumption.
Consumption is diversified. College students are not only well-fed and well-fed, but also spend a lot on clothes. As the favored children who have read the books of sages, they will not forget to visit learning shops and bookstores after studying, and the tuition fees for obtaining various certificates have become a hot consumption spot for college students. It can be seen that the consumption orientation of college students is gradually diversified.
The concept of reasonable financial management and savings is still very weak. In the survey, few college students have the consciousness of planning their own consumption composition. Most of them will unconsciously follow the school's popular consumption tide and lack the necessary planning. The survey found that most college students feel that money is not enough, and there are many things to buy, and only a few students can have the necessary savings.
Countermeasures and suggestions
In view of the unreasonable consumption phenomenon among college students, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: (1) Plan the composition of their own consumption reasonably and enhance the awareness of financial management. Make a good consumption plan, control your own consumption, and form a good habit of thrift. Pay attention to overcoming the psychology of comparison and don't blindly pursue high consumption. Face up to your current consumption situation, develop a good consumption mentality, pay attention to spiritual consumption, and develop healthy living habits. Grasp the opportunity of consumption and learn to use the low discount sales of clothes in many big shopping malls when they change seasons. Living expenses are paid by parents on a monthly basis to avoid becoming a "moonlight family" in the first month of school.
If you can't control your desire to spend money, you'd better bring a certain amount of money before going out according to the approximate price of the goods you need to buy that day. The consciousness of rational consumption needs to be strengthened, and the bank card should be used reasonably to relatively limit the blind consumption of self. Don't blindly pursue the so-called "high taste", which will lead to high consumption and is not suitable for students' reality.
