Debate on the disadvantages of university entrepreneurship outweigh the advantages.
Subjectively, college students lack social experience and are not sure about the ever-changing market information. Business philosophy is largely an economic theory in books. Objectively speaking, the overall atmosphere of college students' entrepreneurship is not mature, some customers are skeptical about college students' bosses, and college students' business ability has not been recognized by the society. For these problems, government departments should introduce relevant preferential policies, encourage and support youth entrepreneurship, set up support institutions specifically for college students' entrepreneurship, and provide policy advice and technical exchanges.

Personal entrepreneurship should be gradual.

What college students call "entrepreneurship" can only be regarded as "social practice" strictly speaking. Although students have mastered some book knowledge, they lack the necessary practical ability and management experience. In addition, because college students lack sufficient knowledge of market, marketing, target market and competitors, it is difficult for them to play the role of investors in the process of starting a business except on paper.

There are still some problems in the mentality, technology and capital of college students' entrepreneurship. Many college students fail to start a business because many college students have no "risk awareness" and sense of responsibility, and do not expect to be responsible for the company, employees and investors. At the same time, they ignore the ability of technological innovation. As a college student, there is no solid material foundation and limited funds. They only invest in intangible assets such as patents, professional technology or high-tech achievements, and most entrepreneurs are transformed from technicians to managers and operators. Therefore, college students should focus on their own majors during their school days, so that they can have professional and technical advantages in their future entrepreneurship. For startups that are still in the early stage, it is necessary to temporarily give up some immediate interests and introduce some truly powerful investors who can provide value-added services and are unified with the entrepreneurial concept, and these requirements are beyond the ability of college students. The disadvantages of college students' entrepreneurship outweigh the advantages. College students refer to the vast majority of groups who have student status and actually participate in college life and study. Entrepreneurship is entrepreneurship, which refers to a regular activity with a certain goal, scale and system that has an impact on social development. It has five characteristics: purposefulness, systematicness, risk, persistence and scale.

What are the criteria for judging the pros and cons? Is to see whether a thing is conducive to the realization of personal value and the optimal allocation of social resources. College students' entrepreneurship naturally has its advantages, which have been explained in detail by other debaters. However, no matter from which aspect, college students' entrepreneurship does more harm than good. Below I will elaborate our views from the following three aspects:

First of all, you can't have your cake and eat it.

The five characteristics of entrepreneurship determine that entrepreneurship, like learning, must invest a lot of time and energy. People's time and energy are limited. For college students who are studying hard to improve their own quality, it is difficult for ordinary people to have both.

Secondly, the ability and quality of college students are generally insufficient.

College students' knowledge structure is single and limited, so they can't form a complete knowledge system and lack social experience, market awareness and business experience. In addition, the unfavorable entrepreneurial environment, blocked capital channels and complicated social relations make it more difficult for college students to start their own businesses.

Entrepreneurship is directly linked to economic interests. For most inexperienced students, it may lead to the flood of ideas of quick success and instant benefit, and brand many students' outlook on life and values with utilitarianism.

Third, entrepreneurial risk is high, and it is often difficult for college students to bear the consequences.

According to the survey, the success rate of college students' entrepreneurship is only 3%, and the success rate of college students' entrepreneurship is even lower. We admire these 3% successful people. However, can the broader 97% entrepreneurial losers learn from their experiences and become more depressed? In fact, many college students lack sufficient psychological preparation for setbacks and failures in starting a business, and their risk awareness is weak. Once they fail, they will often be devastated. After some efforts, most of them bumped their heads in the face of reality and finally returned in anger. Moreover, the failure of starting a business may increase the family burden, and at the same time it will have a certain negative impact on the social and economic order, which is not conducive to the optimal allocation of social resources.

To sum up, for college students, the disadvantages of starting a business outweigh the advantages.
