Chengdu Jincheng College is a private full-time undergraduate college approved by the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education. It is the construction unit of the innovation experimental area of local colleges and universities in Sichuan Province, the pilot unit of the overall transformation and development (application-oriented undergraduate) reform in Sichuan Province, and the pilot unit of the comprehensive reform of "three rounds of education" in Sichuan Province.
The predecessor of the school is Jincheng College of Sichuan University, which was founded in May 2005. In June, 20021,with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Jincheng College of Sichuan University was transformed into an independent full-time undergraduate college and renamed Chengdu Jincheng College.
As of March 2023, the school covers an area of 2 100 mu, with a building area of 567,600 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is nearly 65.438+0.6 billion yuan.
