Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to ensure the smooth enrollment of colleges and universities in Peking University, standardize enrollment behavior, improve the quality of students, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of candidates, these Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Provisions of the Ministry of Education on Enrollment of Colleges and Universities in Peking University.

Article 2 The enrollment work in Peking University follows the principles of "fair competition, fair selection, open procedures, comprehensive assessment, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission".

Article 3 Enrollment in Peking University is subject to the supervision of discipline inspection and supervision departments, news media, candidates and their parents, and all sectors of society.

Chapter II Organization and Personnel

Article 4 An Admissions Committee shall be established in Peking University, which shall be responsible for formulating enrollment regulations, enrollment strategies and policies, determining enrollment scale and adjusting enrollment plans of disciplines, and discussing and deciding major enrollment issues. The Admissions Committee consists of school leaders, subject experts and heads of relevant departments. The director is the main person in charge.

Article 5 Peking University Admissions Office is a permanent organization that organizes and implements the enrollment work in Peking University, and is specifically responsible for the daily work of undergraduate and junior college enrollment. Peking university health science center Admissions Office is authorized to be responsible for the enrollment of the Medical Department.

Article 6 The Admissions Office of Peking University shall set up an enrollment working group according to the needs, and go to all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) to take charge of the enrollment publicity and consultation work in the region, and assist the Admissions Office in the enrollment work. The head of the admissions working group is appointed by the admissions committee.

Seventh Peking University set up a leading group for enrollment supervision, and the supervision office is located in the supervision room of the Commission for Discipline Inspection to supervise the enrollment work.

Chapter III Admission

Article 8 Peking University implements the admission system of "the school is responsible and the enrollment is supervised" stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, admissions committees of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) organize admissions.

Tenth Peking University according to the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) to determine the enrollment ratio, the enrollment ratio is generally controlled within 120%.

Twelfth Peking University in the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) to set up professional volunteer difference, professional volunteer difference in principle within 5, while referring to related subjects.

Thirteenth in the case of insufficient first-choice students, Peking University accepts non-first-choice candidates. However, the score shall not be lower than the average score of the first volunteer candidate who has filed.

Fourteenth high school graduates with one of the following circumstances can be given priority under the same conditions. However, if the same candidate meets multiple conditions for scoring, only the highest score will be obtained, and the scoring shall not exceed 20 points.

1, provincial outstanding students, provincial outstanding student cadres, and provincial three excellent students;

2. Those who have outstanding deeds in ideological and political morality in high school;

3. Those who won the first and second prizes in the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition or the first prize in the provincial-level division of the National Middle School Students' Discipline Olympic Competition in the high school stage;

4. Candidates who won the top six in major international sports competitions or national sports competitions in high school; Candidates who have won the title of national second-class athlete (inclusive) or above in high school and have been tested and recognized by the provincial admissions Committee in the same year.

If the provincial admissions department does not have a bonus policy for candidates who meet the above conditions, Peking University will not take the initiative to add points.

Fifteenth candidates in any of the following circumstances, in the case of the same score, priority admission, but the decline in scores shall not exceed 20 points.

1, ethnic minority candidates in frontier, mountainous, pastoral and ethnic minority areas;

2. Returned overseas Chinese, children of overseas Chinese, children of returned overseas Chinese and candidates from Taiwan Province Province;

3, during the service period, won the second class above veterans;

4. Children of martyrs.

If the provincial admissions department does not have a policy to lower the scores of candidates who meet the above conditions, Peking University will not take the initiative to lower their scores.

Sixteenth if you can't complete the directional professional enrollment plan on the score line of Peking University, you can file online within 20 minutes and choose the best; If it still fails to meet the requirements of the plan, it will be transferred to other areas to recruit targeted students, or it will be transferred to the non-targeted plan on the spot.

Article 17 Peking University implements the policy of admitting only candidates with professional aspirations for some majors. If there are insufficient volunteers on the admission line, candidates with professional volunteers can be admitted in turn within 20 minutes below the admission line until they are all admitted. If you don't report or record majors, the enrollment policy published in that year shall prevail.

Article 18 Peking University conducts independent enrollment in accordance with the enrollment policy of the Ministry of Education. The standard for lowering scores for independent enrollment in provinces and cities is that Peking University will be admitted normally within 30 points of the local admission line in that year. The specific policies are as follows:

The cumulative bonus points of self-enrollment candidates and the policy bonus points of provinces and cities shall not exceed 30 points.

Self-enrollment plus 20 points or 30 points, if the college entrance examination score reaches the local admission score in Peking University, you can enjoy the preferential policy of reducing professional admission 10 points. Self-enrollment plus 5 points, plus points according to the investment, and professional admission based on actual test scores.

In the provinces where parallel volunteer and independent enrollment are implemented respectively, according to their policies, independent enrollment does not occupy the published college entrance examination enrollment plan; In the provinces where self-enrollment is not a separate file, when self-enrollment candidates need to enroll extra points to reach the local admission line, they will file separately according to the self-selection admission policy stipulated by the Ministry of Education, and will not occupy the college entrance examination enrollment plans announced by various provinces and cities in that year.

Nineteenth candidates with physical disabilities in Peking University can take care of themselves and meet the professional requirements. Those who meet the admission criteria in the college entrance examination will be admitted normally.

Chapter IV Supplementary Provisions

Twentieth Peking University in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the school enrollment brochures, recruit students who walk, independent enrollment, non-universal language enrollment, special students.

Twenty-first foreign language majors in Peking University only recruit English language candidates.

Twenty-second Peking University enrollment plan, fees and other information through the provincial admissions department announced.

Twenty-third peking university health science center according to the articles of association and the characteristics of the medical profession to develop medical professional enrollment rules.

Article 24 After the promulgation of these Articles of Association, in case of adjustment of enrollment policies for college entrance examination in some provinces, Peking University will formulate corresponding enrollment policies according to relevant local policies, which will be announced separately.

Article 25 The Articles of Association have been discussed and passed at the 454th meeting of the President's Office in Peking University on April 23, 2002, and shall come into force as of the date of adoption, and shall be revised year by year thereafter. Peking University Admissions Office is responsible for the interpretation.
