Urology and dermatology are the key medical disciplines of the Ministry of Education. These two disciplines should be the first and the second are orthopedics, gastroenterology, clinical nursing, endemic diseases (endemic bone diseases, cardiomyopathy, iodine-related and thyroid diseases), anesthesiology, dermatology, respiratory medicine, otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and emergency medicine. These disciplines were rated as national key clinical specialty construction units by the National Health Planning Commission, and the third was Chinese medicine.
