1995-2000: As a moderator, he was successively funded by "Chen Guang Plan" of Wuhan City, "Young Academic Backbone" of Wuhan University and "Training Plan for Young Backbone Teachers in Colleges and Universities" of the Ministry of Education, and engaged in theoretical and applied research on thermophilic bacterial protease in the School of Biological Sciences of Wuhan University.
2000-2002: STA Fellow, funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, worked on the folding and processing of Aeromonas caviae protease in the Enzyme Laboratory of Japan National Food Research Institute;
2002-present: As a moderator, he has been supported by the Start-up Fund for Returned Overseas Students of the Ministry of Education, the National Natural Science Foundation and the National "973" Sub-project, and engaged in the research on the adaptation mechanism of extreme microorganisms in the School of Biology of Wuhan University.
