Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, referred to as "Beijing Medical University" for short, is a national key university with Chinese medicine discipline directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM), located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and is one of the first world-class universities in China. Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956.
