With the goal of "realizing mass digital resource storage, advanced distributed management, high-speed and effective intelligent information service, and becoming a platform for the application of advanced digital technology and resources in the whole province", in 2002, the Provincial Department of Education organized an automatic evaluation of university libraries in Hubei Province, and considered that the library automation construction reached an advanced level and was rated as an excellent library.
