Han Shaogong, 1953, from Changsha, Hunan. Born in Lixian County, Hunan Province, he is a famous writer. 20 18 was hired as distinguished professor of Hunan University.

He has won awards at home and abroad: 1980, 198 1 National Excellent Short Story Award; In 2002, he was awarded the "Knight Medal of French Literature and Art" by the French Ministry of Culture; In 2007, the Fifth China Literature and Media Award "Outstanding Writer Award"; The 4th Lu Xun Literature Award; The second Newman Chinese Literature Award in the United States. His works are published in more than ten foreign languages and more than thirty foreign languages. There are also several translations, such as The Unbearable Lightness of Life (Kundera) and The Record of Surprise (Pessoa).

He was a member of the Standing Committee of the First and Second Hainan Provincial Political Consultative Conference (concurrently), a deputy to the Third Provincial People's Congress, a chairman of the Third Hainan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a member and secretary of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Retired from the above positions in 20 1 1 year. He is currently the Presidium of the Chinese Writers Association, a part-time member of the National Committee, honorary chairman of the Hainan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a professor of Xiaoxiang scholars at Hunan Normal University.
