1, Guangzhou University, whose School of Fine Arts and Design is an art professional college with undergraduate and master degrees, consists of five professional departments: painting department, design department, fine arts department, product and clothing department and animation department. It is a pilot unit of comprehensive reform of Master of Arts in the Ministry of Education and an undergraduate pilot unit of Fine Arts in the Ministry of Education.

The Academy of Fine Arts of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University is one of the second-level colleges newly established by Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University according to the needs of the development of higher education in Guangdong. It is a teaching institution with art design as the main body on the basis of traditional art specialty, and has formed its own advantages and characteristics. The college consists of art design department, fine arts department and comprehensive painting art research institute, color science and folk culture research institute, calligraphy research institute, advertising department and animation department under construction.

3. Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, which has the right to award master's degrees, is also the first batch of professional degree awarding units of Master of Arts announced by the State Council. Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, formerly known as Central South Academy of Fine Arts, was formed by the merger of Guangdong South China College of Literature and Art, Hubei Central South College of Literature and Art and Guangxi College of Art on 1953.
