Yushan Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the middle of Kunshan City, north of Wusong River, on both sides of Loujiang River and south of Taicangtang. It is connected with Bingxi and Lujia Town in the east, Zhengyi Town in the west, Zhang Pu Town in the south and Chengbei and Xinzhen Town in the north. Yushan Town is the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of Kunshan City. It is a famous town in the south of the Yangtze River with profound cultural heritage, an ancient water town with a long history, and a modern industrial and commercial center famous for its export-oriented economy and developed private economy.

Yushan is located in Taihu Plain in the Yangtze River Delta, south of the north subtropical zone and east of the sea. Affected by the monsoon, the four seasons are distinct: dry, wet, cold and warm, and the interannual variation and seasonal distribution of temperature are quite different. Yushan Town is a semi-high altitude area with a ground elevation of 3.2 ~ 3.5 meters, and the whole territory is flat. Maanshan, northwest of the town, east-west, 80.8 meters above sea level, around 1.5 kilometers.
The main rivers in Yushan Town are Wusong River, Loujiang River, Qingyang Port, Xiaoxing River, Railway River and Changsi River. There are 365 village-level rivers in the town, with a total length of 204.04 kilometers. After the founding of New China, there were 82 dredging projects with a total length of 30.6 kilometers.
