There used to be a major in technical physics, which was an engineering major, but now it is generally changed to an electronic (information) science and technology major, mainly engaged in microelectronics (electronic devices, integrated circuits), optoelectronics (lasers, flat panel displays) and other directions, and now it is more popular.
2. The basic courses of physics major are:
Mathematics: advanced mathematics, linear algebra, probability theory, mathematical statistics.
Mathematical physics methods: complex variable function, mathematical physics equation
Four major mechanics: theoretical mechanics, thermodynamics and statistical physics, electromagnetism and electrodynamics, atomic physics and quantum mechanics. These four courses are classics of physics! ! !
These classes are in the lower grades.
3. There are:
Optics, information optics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, electronic technology (analog, digital) and so on.
It depends on your major and direction.
Biocomputer (biochip) belongs to the combination of microelectronics (integrated circuit) and biotechnology.
Cosmology belongs to astrophysics major.
Quarks and Schrodinger equations can't be said to belong to any major, just knowledge points, atomic physics and quantum mechanics.
Students majoring in general physics will have general physics experiments and modern physics experiments, some of which are important experiments in history, such as those that won the Nobel Prize. You can learn their experimental principles and methods, and good schools will have more and better equipment in this respect.
