Renmin University of China Press, founded in 1955, is the first university press established after the founding of New China. Over the past 50 years, NPC Publishing House has always taken the historical mission of promoting the development of education and culture in China, and made positive contributions to the cause of higher education in China, the cause of humanities and social sciences in China, and the study and dissemination of Marxism.

In 2007, People's Congress Publishing House published more than 2,000 books with a distribution code of more than 600 million yuan. After long-term accumulation, Renmin University of China Press has developed into a large-scale comprehensive publishing house integrating books, periodicals, audio and video, electronic publications, online publications and other multimedia.
