College English Reading and Writing Course 2 (Navigation), edited by Luo, Zhang and Zhang, is a pioneering series of college English textbooks. According to the development trend of college English teaching for maritime majors and the rules and characteristics of college English learning for maritime majors, this textbook is compiled on the principle of "novelty" and "practicality".

Abstract: In order to effectively improve the comprehensive English application ability of maritime students in colleges and universities, and successfully complete the transition from general English to maritime English, under the guidance of the editorial board of College English (maritime major), a series of textbooks of College English (maritime major) were compiled by Luo, a senior expert and front-line teacher from Dalian Maritime University and other colleges for two years. On the basis of meeting the requirements of college English teaching, this set of textbooks innovatively increases the topics and contents related to navigation, and realizes the connection between college English and maritime English. It is the first college English textbook specially written for maritime majors in China, which provides a brand-new solution for maritime English teaching.
