The harm of amblyopia to eyes
I am 22 years old and I am also amblyopic. I have amblyopia of 0.3 in one eye and normal in the other.

Don't be sad. In fact, it is very sad when I just learned that I have amblyopia. Because parents and people around me know too little about amblyopia, the school's vision is very loose, so I missed the best treatment period.

First of all, you won't be blind. Normal eyes will spend a long time reading, so we should pay attention to protect our eyes and have more rest. Last year, I went to the Eye Hospital of China University of Science and Technology for treatment. I matched a pair of glasses, bought a set of software and prescribed some potions. The doctor there told me that amblyopia is basically fixed after adulthood, and it will not be good or bad, but we should take good care of healthy eyes, because heavy load will make us feel more tired than ordinary people.

I always use that software intermittently, but I feel better. My amblyopia is caused by hyperopia. I went to get glasses this year. People say that my amblyopia has dropped from 300 degrees to 250 degrees. It's a little fun, but I have chronic conjunctivitis and my eyes are easily tired, so I must pay attention to rest and apply cold and hot water to my eyes every night.

Besides, I have a good news for you. Professor from the University of Science and Technology of China is working with Professor Lu from the University of Southern California to study the treatment of adult amblyopia. You can search online. Their latest research shows that adult amblyopia is more plastic than normal people, so we still have hope ~ ~

PS: How much do you think people around you know about amblyopia? Alas, in order to prevent those children from repeating our mistakes, I decided to focus on investigating the living conditions of amblyopia groups in recent topics ~ ~ ~
