Yang Jinhu, an alumnus of class 1999 majoring in polymer materials and engineering, works in Tongji University, and is now an "Oriental scholar" in distinguished professor.

Yang Jinhu received his bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree from Jinan University and Peking University in 1999, 2002 and 2005 respectively, and went to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for postdoctoral research in 2005.

From September 2006 to September 2008, he served as a distinguished researcher of Japan Association for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and did postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo as a visiting researcher.

From March to October, 200911,in March, 2009, he was sponsored by Humboldt Foundation to do Humboldt scholar research in Munich University, Germany, and has worked in Tongji University since September, 2008.

He has published 30 papers in international scientific journals in the fields of chemistry, materials and nanotechnology, including Angew. Chemistry International Edition, ACSNano, Advanced Materials, Scientific Reports, Chemistry. Mater, nano-scale, Appl.Phys.Lett, has been cited more than 1 100, three papers have been cited more than 100, 1 paper has been cited more than 200 times, and the H-index is 17, among which many papers are cited.
