I have been to Wuhan several times, but I didn't stop because I changed trains halfway, except for the National Day in 2007.
In my impression, there are very few people in National Day school this year. The nearest one may go home, and the farthest one may go out to play. In short, everything makes people feel that they should not stay in school. I forget who suggested it. At that time, there were three students in class one, and three students in our class decided to go to Wuhan.
I took the train back and forth, because it was a temporary decision to go, and it was during the National Day, so I bought a station ticket back and forth. Fortunately, it's only a few hours away, and it's time for the brothers to blow a cow for a while. According to Feng Ge's memory, he lived in the massage room at that time. I remember the hotel owner told us so. She said that the rooms in the school are full of lovers now, and there is only one massage way for you to live. This is of course acceptable, because it was impossible for us to stay in expensive luxury hotels at that time, and at the same time, we could accept the fact that the room was full of couples.
There are three places we must go on this trip: Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge and Wuhan University. Because the Yellow Crane Tower is near the Yangtze River, it can also be said to be two places.
At that time, I was very disappointed with the Yellow Crane Tower and thought it was really like what Mr. Cui Hao wrote. When people took the Yellow Crane, they took most things, so only the Yellow Crane Tower was left. I feel different now. The Yellow Crane Tower is just a building, and all other additional meanings are imposed on it. Your disappointment is only because you have unnecessary hopes, so you can't blame your worries on the misty river. For thousands of years, it has stood on the top of the snake mountain overlooking the Yangtze River and witnessed many prosperity and disputes. Its existence is a great thing in itself. Today's Yellow Crane Tower was rebuilt by 1985, which may be the main reason for disappointment at that time.
The Yangtze River flows eastward. It is said that the Yangtze River water in Wuhan section is really turbid. This is the real feeling at that time. But when you stand on the Yangtze River Bridge and look down, you really have to admire its majestic momentum. If you look at it for a long time, you will feel swept away by the river at any time. It still takes some time to walk from one end of the bridge to the other, and the bridge is shaking at any time, especially when a train passes by, you will doubt whether the bridge is strong enough and have the illusion that the bridge will collapse at any time.
Wuhan University, a prestigious school with a long history, ranks first among many universities in China. There is no reason not to go to Wuhan. The cherry blossoms in Wuhan University are quite famous, but we came at a bad time, not only the cherry blossoms have withered, but also the leaves are about to fall out. The campus is very big, and I haven't finished shopping for half a day. What impressed me most was the old buildings such as the old library. Standing in front of them, I can't help feeling solemn.
Besides Wuhan University, I also went to Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, which is also a good school, especially the artificial night scene is dazzling. But compared with Wu Da, it has no taste of history at all.
There is also an East Lake in Wuhan, which is said to be a scenic spot with the same name as the West Lake in Hangzhou. However, the scenic spots of East Lake are scattered and the development is slow and lagging behind, so its reputation is much worse than that of West Lake. However, East Lake is still a place worth visiting. If you have enough time, you will see beautiful lakes, green mountains and green waters, birds and flowers, and you will feel that life doesn't have to be so fast. If you slow down, you will see more beauty.
Time to visit Wuhan is limited. Although in a hurry, there is no regret. I look forward to meeting again.
