Why do I support wearing uniforms?
This matter has been debated for a long time in the philosophical circle. Recently, a friend brought it up again, so I went in to discuss it and analyze the possible reasons for supporting uniforms. Generally speaking, I think there are two original reasons for the existence of uniforms: "First, symbols representing groups, and second, symbols with the same symbols can strengthen the sense of identity of groups and stimulate centripetal force." But I am surrounded by people who have just expressed their guesses, saying that this is "unconvincing" (hehe), and then saying that "people who support uniforms only wear uniforms because they think they can save time in dressing up."

Let me explain what the arguments of those who oppose school uniforms are. Their main argument is that "uniforms are a symbol of authority and a means to strip away personal color, so in order to resist authority, we should oppose uniforms." 」

But is the uniform really authoritative? Do you really deprive yourself of power without wearing a uniform? Let me explain below.

In fact, whether you want a school uniform depends on the situation and the needs of the school. Just as some schools in the United States that require discipline and image will stipulate uniforms, schools with a free atmosphere will not. However, when some people see the reasons for supporting uniforms, no matter what the other party's position is, they will bombard them with all their strength and will not discuss them with each other, otherwise they will ridicule each other. If all those who demand "overthrowing authority" are such people, then the world after "liberation" will probably be good or bad.

Back to the topic, if we must discuss the "extra problems" of uniforms, that is, "we can look" equal "or" don't worry about wearing clothes ",to be honest, I absolutely agree.

When I was a child in China, I hated wearing uniforms. I think the uniform is ugly. How can they represent the image of the school? Moreover, at that time, we were forbidden to wear shoes, even if we scraped the watermelon skin. Moreover, shoes with big feet were hard to buy, and there was no shoe store with large size at that time, which was very troublesome. So, I hated the uniform system.

But I didn't have a uniform in my fifth grade school, but I began to miss the "garbage uniform with no image at all" in junior high school. Why? Because I saw that all the students around me were dressed in fashion, and I was dressed in a rustic way, with no feminine taste at all. Moreover, my classmates will determine your character by your appearance, which makes me feel inferior. Even though I spent time studying what to wear, I don't have enough money, and I can't "practice my own dress aesthetics" to make my appearance meet my own and environmental expectations.

Therefore, I have been worried about my appearance from the fifth middle school to the university until after graduation, because people in public cram schools don't pay attention to dressing up because of exams, which has also become my motivation to learn from my classmates.

I think those who oppose uniforms, and those who can't scratch, are all because you only see yourself and ignore the power of the group. Yes, you are free not to wear a uniform, and you can dress yourself in various ways, but have you ever wondered what kind of mood some people will have in this environment because they don't have the capital to dress themselves up? Everyone is focused on dressing up. These people who don't have the capital to dress up should always put their thoughts and troubles on it, and the level of dressing troubles is not only the appearance, but also his friends and even the degree of bullying. Have these people who oppose uniforms thought about this problem?

Why do you have a uniform? It represents the external image of a group, and it can also be said that our school is different from other schools. Because people have the same symbols, they will subconsciously identify with people and things with the same symbols, thus achieving a unified effect. And that's what uniforms are all about. However, when there is no school uniform, their image changes from a group to an individual. When many individuals only care about their appearance, the rules of this group are dominated by these powerful groups, resulting in the pressure of people who have no capital to dress themselves up, and it is difficult to reverse the situation of "the strong will always be strong". If uniforms represent "authority restraint", won't wearing uniforms cause authority restraint? What is even more frightening is that this constraint is still based on a very emotional and illogical group individualism. Can "no uniform" really get rid of the so-called "authority"?

Originally, whether the school uniform is stipulated depends on the school spirit. The school uniform is only a part of life, not the whole thing. But when I see that people who oppose uniforms are full of egoism and lack rationality and sensibility, to be honest, I think what these people call "getting rid of authority" is just an act of doing whatever they want for the sake of opposition. If we really want to oppose the so-called "image problem", why not pay attention to the discrimination, ridicule and bullying of fat people or short people on campus? These injuries affect people's life because of their appearance, but no one stands up against the ignorant injuries of teenagers to others on campus. Those who oppose uniforms think that uniforms are authority. Isn't it another kind of authority that this society hurts fat people and short people? Focus only on irrelevant things and be complacent. This is not tickling. What is this?
