Our department has a complete set of diagnosis and treatment techniques for type I and type II diabetes and its chronic complications, thyroid diseases such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroiditis, pituitary diseases and diabetes insipidus, pituitary hypofunction, pituitary dwarfism, adrenal diseases such as primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, parathyroid diseases, abnormal bone metabolism, precocious puberty, obesity, and abnormal lipid metabolism caused by various reasons.
The infectious diseases department of the Third Hospital is the only infectious diseases specialty in Hebei Provincial Hospital. Many studies such as viral hepatitis and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome have filled the gaps in the province and reached the domestic advanced level. Since 1980, the laboratory for treating acute abdomen with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine (integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine surgery) has treated more than 5000 cases of acute abdomen, reaching the domestic advanced level.
The cardiovascular department of the Third Hospital has CCU ward, ambulatory blood pressure, heart rate variability, ambulatory electrocardiogram room, clinical electrophysiology laboratory and cardiovascular disease laboratory of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. The in-hospital mortality rate of acute myocardial infarction is less than 10%, which is also an advanced level in the whole province and even the whole country. In recent years, the hospital has introduced the omni-directional traction therapeutic bed of HILL Company of the United States with international advanced level, the only double-tube bidirectional X-ray machine in the province, the most advanced automatic plasma separator in the province, dual-frequency hyperthermia machine, gastroscope and other large-scale medical equipment, which has provided a strong guarantee for the rapid development of all work.
The operating room with advanced equipment is a symbol of the modernization of the ward building. There are 19 operating rooms in the new ward building of the Third Hospital, including 16 central operating rooms and one operating room for obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology and hand surgery. The shadowless lamp, operating table and anesthesia tower in the operating room all adopt imported equipment.
