TEDA College of Nankai University is one of the subordinate colleges of Nankai University. TEDA College of Applied Physics of Nankai University has established "Key Laboratory of Weak Light Nonlinear Photonics of Ministry of Education" and "Tianjin Key Laboratory of Information Photonic Materials and Technology".
In addition to the right to award doctoral degrees in physics, there are doctoral programs in materials physics and chemistry and master programs in measurement technology and instruments.
