Acm/icpc is an Acm international college programming competition organized by the American Computer Association, which is divided into two stages: regional competition and final competition. China belongs to the Asian region. There are 5-6 competitions in China every year, and the competition time is 10~ 1 1. The first, second and third prizes were awarded in the regional competition, which belongs to the Asian regional level. The top five in each regional competition can enter the annual global finals and award the first, second and third prizes, which is a world-class award.

In addition, due to China's large population and many schools, the Asian regionals held in China will also hold online qualifiers in September, and the top 100 schools will be eligible to enter the live competition of the regionals.
