Basic education system: 4 years
The undergraduate education programs of Sino-US cooperation in running schools include mechanical engineering and civil engineering, and the foreign partner institution is Valparaiso University.
Students can apply to attend Valparaiso University while they are at school. Students who have studied in Valparaiso University for not less than 2 years and completed all their studies according to the teaching plan and meet the criteria for degree awarding will be awarded the bachelor's degree certificate of Valparaiso University and the bachelor's degree certificate of Dalian Jiaotong University. Students completed all their studies in our school within four years according to the teaching plan, passed the examination, met the graduation requirements and degree awarding standards of Dalian Jiaotong University, and were awarded the undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree certificate of Dalian Jiaotong University.
Tuition standard: the domestic tuition fee is 35,000 yuan/student year (subject to the approval of Liaoning Provincial Price Bureau), and the tuition standard of Valparaiso University (about 20,000 US dollars/student year) is implemented for studying abroad.
Training objective: to train international talents who are familiar with international technical standards of civil engineering, have solid professional knowledge, strong practical ability, international vision, cooperative work ability and innovative spirit, and can engage in engineering design, construction and management in the field of civil engineering.
Training requirements: master the basic knowledge of civil engineering and pay attention to cultivating students' engineering practice ability, scientific research ability and innovative spirit. Students have strong English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, are familiar with international rules in the field of civil engineering, and have the ability and quality to participate in international affairs and international competition.
