The bus service from Canberra Airport to the city center is provided by Royal Coach, and only stops at fixed stations. The airport bus can't go directly to the Australian National University (the station is still some distance from the school), so it takes two steps to get to the school.

Option 2: Take a taxi and pick it up privately.

Coming out of the arrival hall of Canberra Airport is the taxi waiting area. According to the taxi company and the travel time, the price from the airport to the school will vary. Generally, from the airport to the school, the cost is about 30-40 Australian dollars. If you meet the rush hour, or take a bus between 9 pm and 6 am the next day, the fare will be higher.

Other modes of arrival

At present, Canberra Airport only has domestic routes in Australia. In addition to connecting flights to Canberra, many students choose to take a long-distance bus directly to Canberra at Sydney Airport. The bus from Sydney to Canberra is mainly operated by Greyhound and Murrays, with a journey of 3.5-4 hours and more flights. Take Greyhound Coach and Murrays Coach, both of which will stop at the terminal of Jolimont Center in downtown Canberra. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from the terminal to the city bus station, where international students can transfer to bus No.3 and No.7 to reach the Australian National University bus station on Liversidge Street.
