This is a high volcanic cone at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, exposed to the sea. There is a big crack at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, and lava flows out to form a high volcano with many craters and many peaks. Some peaks are above the sea. This is an island. Second, Honshu has a tropical climate, which makes the United States have cold (Alaska), warm (forty-eight states in the continental United States) and hot (Hawaiian Islands) territories. Thirdly, Honshu is the naval and air base of the United States in the Pacific Ocean and the shipping center of the United States, Asia and Australia, and its position is very important.
The climate of the islands belongs to regression type, because it is located near the Tropic of Cancer and influenced by the northeast trade wind, with rainy windward slopes and less rainy northerly slopes.
