On the eve of June 1st, we went to the South Railway Station to do public welfare work. This is my first time to participate in such an activity, and I am very happy. Along the way, we sang cheerful songs and walked happily to the railway station.
When we arrived at the railway station, the teacher asked us to clean the railings beside the parking lot. The students were divided into six groups, and the teacher just said, "Go to work!" " "The students rushed to their railings. I looked at the railing I was in charge of, and it was too dirty to see its original color. First, I soaked the rag in soapy water and wiped it hard. Black water quickly ran down from the railing, gradually revealing the original white paint. Then, I wiped the washed dishcloth several times with clear water before cleaning the railing. The students won't let anyone do it. One group does better than the other. Some students go to fetch water. Some students wash rags, while others clean railings. The students wiped it over and over again. Look, how hard the students in the second group work! When the team leader checks the small black block, wipe it hard with a rag dipped in soapy water until the small black block is "eliminated". After more than two hours of "fighting", everyone finally wiped the dirty railings spotless. Looking at the fruits of our labor, we all smiled sweetly.
Through this charity work, I learned to respect social morality and protect our environment.
