1. New students: After entering the school, the college will organize to fill in the enrollment registration, and the school will report to the municipal medical insurance center as the insured unit. After entering the school, everyone will get a new social security card, and the issuing time of the social security card will be notified by the college.

2. Students who are already studying: according to the unified arrangement of the school student medical insurance management center, handle related renewal matters, and the specific work shall be subject to the unified notice of the school.

The medical insurance reimbursement process for college students is as follows:

1. The medical expenses for hospitalization shall be paid by the individual first. After discharge, the medical insurance card, ID card, outpatient medical records, discharge summary, general list of expenses, disease diagnosis certificate, valid bills, doctor's orders, copy of the first page of medical records, certificate issued by the school, transfer certificate and trauma treatment related certificate issued by the college shall be handled at the medical department window of the service hall of the municipal medical insurance management center.

For medical treatment in different hospitals, materials from different hospitals should be provided; In the same hospital, according to the different hospitalization time, if the expenses are treated in the same hospital before and after discharge, the materials of hospitalization in different periods should also be provided;

2. Open the credit card settlement function: within three days of hospitalization, the student or student guardian or client will go to the medical department window of the service hall of the municipal medical insurance center with the student ID card, provincial social security card, hospitalization medical record, disease diagnosis certificate and certificate issued by the college;

3. In case of emergency, within 3 to 5 working days, contact by telephone or entrust others to register with the municipal medical insurance management center through the school student medical insurance management center, and the medical expenses shall be paid in advance by myself. At the time of reimbursement, apply for reimbursement to the municipal medical insurance center according to the above reimbursement materials.

Legal basis: Article 28 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.

Article 29

The medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by social insurance agencies, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
