Jiangsu University is not 2 1 1. According to Sunshine College Entrance Examination Network, Jiangsu University has a history of one hundred years. It is the first batch of universities in China with the right to award doctoral and master's degrees, the first batch of universities built by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the first batch of universities built by high-level universities in Jiangsu Province, and the national "three-round education" comprehensive reform pilot university. Its comprehensive strength has been among the top 100 universities in China. The school is located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River with beautiful scenery. The campus covers an area of more than 3,000 mu, with a building area of 6,543.8+2,000 square meters. The history of running a school can be traced back to 1902 when Liu Kunyi and Zhang Zhidong founded Sanjiang Normal School, and Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Technology continued their string songs. 1960 Nanjing institute of technology (now southeast university) set up Zhenjiang agricultural machinery college independently. 1978 was identified as one of the 88 key universities in China by the State Council. 198 1 became the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. 1982 and 1994 were renamed as Jiangsu Institute of Technology and Jiangsu University of Technology. In August of 20001year, it merged with Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Normal College to form Jiangsu University.
