Guilin University of Electronic Technology, referred to as "Guidian", is located in Guilin, a world-famous scenic city. Established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it was selected as one of the key universities in the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" and the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions.
