IELTS requirements for studying in Korea
IELTS scores for studying in South Korea:

1. Some universities in South Korea pay more attention to applicants' college entrance examination results. In order to attract high-end international students, some universities grant 100% scholarships or waive 1 year tuition fees to students with scores above 500 in the college entrance examination.

Many schools do not require IELTS or TOEFL scores for applicants. Ordinary schools don't need college entrance examination and English. Just have a high school diploma.

3. However, if you are applying for a Korean teaching course, it is recommended to take the Korean Grade Certificate, as long as Korean has passed topic4.

4. If it is an English teaching course, you must have English scores.

Minimum IELTS score for studying in Korea:

1. In fact, the IELTS requirements of foreign students in major universities in Korea are not very high.

2. Because IELTS is not well recognized in Korea, only a few schools require students to provide IELTS scores.

As far as the current situation is concerned, the total IELTS score of Korean students can only reach 5.5.

Precautions for studying in Korea:

1. Pay attention to the information of international students.

(1) No one will be responsible for informing you of all kinds of things in Korean universities. As an adult, you should be responsible for your own affairs.

(2) Every school has an international student support department, and official website also has a special information about the international student department, such as scholarships, exchange students, and dormitory courses. I suggest spending time to see official website twice a week.

2. Freedom of accommodation

(1) There are so few dormitories in Korean universities that even Koreans are not enough to live in. Koreans near home go home for dinner every day even if they go to college.

(2) South Korea does not force students to live in dormitories. If you are uncomfortable living in the dormitory, or have problems with your roommate, you can move out at any time. It is difficult to go abroad to go to school alone. You must try your best to make yourself comfortable in life.

At the same time, it is reminded that renting a house depends on whether some conditions are convenient, whether the co-tenant's personality is compatible, and so on.

Step 3 make more friends

(1) Studying abroad, family and friends are not around. Find more opportunities to make friends, otherwise loneliness will consume a lot of positive emotions.

(2) At the same time, don't refuse to make friends with Koreans. Many Korean students are very friendly. Don't be afraid to speak, because they are afraid of swearing.
