SGU, the full name of SuperGlobalUniversity, is a college English teaching program set up by the Japanese government to attract outstanding foreign students to study in Japan. SGU is scheduled to be officially launched on 20 14. Compared with its predecessor G30 project, it is larger in scale and more diverse in enrollment methods. The Japanese government selected 37 universities from 775 regular universities nationwide and allocated 770 million yen to support its internationalization reform. /zd/lx
