Accommodation procedures of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics:

The teacher who welcomes the new students will arrange a brother or sister to accompany you to go through all the formalities. If you don't understand anything, you can ask at once. Brothers and sisters smile and serve you warmly in the hot sun and sometimes even in the heavy rain. Remember to say thank you to them. The senior will take you to the dormitory first and go through the accommodation formalities.

Accommodation procedures are generally simple. Usually go to the accommodation management center or accommodation management office on the first floor of the apartment, show the registration card to the staff and fill in some simple personal information. The other party will tell you your dormitory number and bed number and give you a dormitory key. Put your luggage in the assigned dormitory, and then you can go through the admission formalities easily.

Small note:

Remember to put your luggage in your own place to prevent others from taking it by mistake. Please keep it for your roommate in the dormitory, or lock it if there is a wardrobe in the dormitory. Bank cards, mobile phones and other valuables should be carried with you, not left in the dormitory, because people in the freshman dormitory will be stolen if they are not careful.

The first day of freshman registration:

It is also convenient for freshmen to register. On the day of registration, the students' union of each college will have "welcome guests" to pick up or guide them, and colorful flags will fly and people will be buzzing. There will be a certain number of elderly volunteers in the school, all with badges. If there is any help, you can ask them directly. The registration site may be a bit messy.

But it will be really lively. Don't worry, if the transportation is inconvenient, international students can check in one day in advance, and they can buy tickets in cash to eat in the campus cafeteria first, so they don't have to waste money and things to rent hotels outside.

Most colleges and universities provide "one-stop" service (excluding queuing time, only a few minutes), and some colleges and universities also have to pay insurance premiums. When registering, they should apply for "one card" (rechargeable) and "bank card" for libraries and canteens (including bathing time in northern colleges and universities).

After registration, your college, class, student number, student ID card and school badge are all available. After signing up, the volunteer students from each college will lead the freshmen to the dormitory and get the dormitory key from the dormitory certificate.
