The Royal Welsh Academy of Music and Drama was established in Cardiff Castle, 1949. It is a public school of music and drama in Wales, providing characteristic teaching and training for students who love performing. There are more than 550 students, one quarter of whom are graduate students, about one third of whom study drama and two thirds study music. More than 300 performances a year. Students can learn high-level performance skills directly from excellent college employees (including popular actors and artists) and get opportunities to participate in various high-level performances.
