He is currently the executive director of the Chinese Buddhist Association, the vice president and secretary general of the Fujian Buddhist Association, the deputy director of the board of directors of Fujian Buddhist College, the abbot of Kaiyuan Temple in Fuzhou, and concurrently the member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference and the deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Committee of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference.
He has been invited to visit nearly 30 countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in four continents, including Asia, Europe, the United States and foreign countries, or to give lectures or attend religious meetings or participate in religious activities.
