Ningda, referred to as Ningda for short, is a comprehensive university jointly founded by Zhejiang Education Department, State Oceanic Administration and Ningbo Zhi Zhi University. It is the first batch of key universities for road construction in Zhejiang Province, the national "double-class" world-class discipline construction university, the first batch of key construction universities in Zhejiang Province, and the first demonstration university in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

2. Ningbo Institute of Technology

1983, founded by Ningbo Municipal People's Government, is a full-time undergraduate college. In 2004, Ningbo Institute of Technology was successfully upgraded from Ningbo College to the youngest undergraduate college. In 2008, the school successfully passed the evaluation of the right to award bachelor's degrees organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, and achieved a substantial change from junior college to undergraduate course.

3. Coast Guard Police Academy

The school is located in Beilun District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is an ordinary university directly under the Ministry of Public Security approved by the Ministry of Education. It is the only institution of higher learning in the Armed Police Force and the only institution in China that specializes in training officers and men at sea. 6. Zhejiang Wan Li University

A provincial normal university with a history of 67 years. The history of the school can be traced back to Zhejiang Lin Ning Bo Agricultural Technology School founded by 1950. After that, it experienced the development stages of Zhejiang Agricultural University Ningbo Branch and Zhejiang Rural Vocational and Technical Teachers College. In 2002, it was renamed Zhejiang Wanli College.
