Wuhan University, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21project" construction universities, and is selected as "Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education", "National Basic Science Research and Talent Training Base" and "National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center".
As of July 2022, the school covers an area of 5 195 mu with a building area of 2.8 million square meters. The school has 34 colleges and 3 first-class hospitals. 127 undergraduate majors, 59 master's degrees authorized first-level disciplines, and 49 doctoral degrees authorized first-level disciplines; 46 post-doctoral research mobile stations; 1 1 two disciplines first-class construction discipline, 5 first-class disciplines and 7 national key disciplines.

3. Southwest Jiaotong University.
Southwest Jiaotong University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a national key university directly under People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education. Jointly built by the Ministry of Education, China Railway Corporation, Sichuan Province and Chengdu, it ranks among the first batch of "double first-class" universities, "2 1 1 Project" and "Special 985 Project" in China. Schools were selected as "20 1 1 plan" and "11plan".
As of September, 2022, the school has four campuses: Jiuli, Xipu, Emei and Chengdu East (International), covering an area of more than 5,000 mu. At present, there are 27 colleges (institutes and centers), with 18 authorized points for first-class disciplines, 3 authorized categories for doctoral degrees, 4 authorized points for master's degrees for first-class disciplines,1postdoctoral research stations, and more than 2,700 full-time teachers.
