Wuhan University of Technology covers an area of about 4000 mu. Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is the first batch of universities listed in the national "2 1 1 Project" and "Double First Class" construction. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport. The history of running a school originated from the Hubei Technical School established by 1898.

Wuhan University of Technology has Mafangshan Campus, Yujiatou Campus and Nanhu Campus, covering an area of more than 4,000 mu, with a total construction area of1782,800 square meters.
