Oriental College of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (country code: 13899 hereinafter referred to as Oriental College) is a full-time undergraduate college sponsored by Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (a key university directly under the Ministry of Education and a national university for the construction of "2 1 1" project) with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2005. Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956, formerly known as Beijing College of Chinese Medicine, and is the earliest institution of higher learning of Chinese medicine approved by the State Council. 1960 was identified as a national key university by the central government; 1993, renamed Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
/kloc-0 was selected as the "2 1 1 project" national key construction university in 1996; In 2000, it merged with Beijing College of Acupuncture and Orthopaedics to form a new Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. 20 1 1 was selected as the national "985 Engineering Advantage Innovation Platform" to build universities.
