First, school profile:
The school was founded in Beijing in 1952, and moved to Luoyang in 1956 to meet the needs of national construction layout, and was later renamed as Luoyang Institute of Technology, which is under the Ministry of Machinery Industry. From 65438 to 0998, it was placed under the management of Henan Province. In 2002, in order to optimize the structural layout of higher education in Henan Province, the Henan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government reported to the Ministry of Education for approval, and Luoyang Institute of Technology and Luoyang Agricultural College merged to form Henan University of Science and Technology.
As of June, 2022, the school has two campuses, Kaiyuan and Xiyuan, with a total area of 4 100 mu and a building area of 1.59 million square meters. There are 3 1 colleges, covering 1 1 disciplines and 98 undergraduate majors.

As of July 2020, as the first batch of universities recognized by the Ministry of Education with the qualification of receiving foreign students, the school has carried out exchanges and cooperation in personnel training with 95 high-level universities and scientific research institutions in the United States, Britain, Russia, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea and other countries and regions, and recruited undergraduate students to study abroad.
On 20/0/7, the cooperation between our school and Tomsk Polytechnic University was approved, and on 20/0/8, the cooperation between our school and Idaho State University was approved.
